Cheshire is the home of what was the original British crumbly cheese. Cheese making skills have been maintained at Laurels Farm, but the consumer tastes have changed and today’s cheese lover is looking for new fresh cheeses to enjoy in a more relaxed environment.

With no British salad cheeses anymore – and plenty of poor foreign imitations we think it is about time someone created a fresh cheese with the taste of a British summer, and that is what we have done for Elsie.
