PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER

We’re currently recruiting for a Team Leader to work within our Further Processing department allocated to the Grating Department. Leading a team of up to 20, the successful candidate will have enthusiasm, an eye for detail and a customer service centric attitude. This role is based on our second shift working 4pm - 2am for an additional premium.

The main duties attributed to the role are:·

Deliver the daily production plan OTIF, achieving OEE targets, whilst maintaining quality and safety

· Deliver an effective shift handover

· Plan daily Job Stations and skills to match production plan, (including break rota), whilst assisting the Department Manager to identify and deliver training needs for all direct reports

· Input required data into the KPI capture system, and using SIC meetings, ensure all issues identified are actioned in timely fashion

· Deliver compliance with H&S, hygiene, food safety standards, and GMP, ensuring all GMP actions are closed out promptly

· Develop, train and implement new departmental SOP’s to agreed timescales, also ensuring all existing SOP’s are reviewed to incorporate risk assessments and quality objectives

· Assist the Department Manager to deliver Toolbox Talks and Briefings as required.

· Assist the Departmental Manager to close out all actions promptly resulting from SIC meetings

· Assist the Departmental Manager to deliver all departmental KPI’s and objectives

Ideally from a food manufacturing background, the preferred candidate will have a great personality and passion for their role, be inquisitive to find new ways of working, work collaboratively with their team and the wider business and take ownership of the tasks at hand.

Salary: Up to £35,840.00 per year
